GHRP-6 is a growth hormone releasing peptide that stimulates the hypothalamus to secrete growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH), thereby promoting the secretion of growth hormone from the pituitary gland. It is mainly used to study the regulatory mechanism of growth hormone.
GHRP-6 stimulates the pituitary gland to secrete growth hormone by binding to the growth hormone secreting peptide receptor (GHS-R). In addition, GHRP-6 may also enhance appetite by increasing gastrointestinal hormone levels.
GHRP-6 is widely used in growth hormone research, especially in the study of the mechanism of growth hormone secretion and growth hormone deficiency. In addition, it is also used to evaluate the effects of synthetic hormones and other physiological regulators.
